The start of April brought a host of Easter holiday classes to children from near and far. Amongst the usual and ever popular block printing and sewing a tote bag, I also taught some older children to sew a make-up bag, arm knit using chunky wool, decoupage and making an Easter garland. I love a boomerang effect and if you want to see some of the kids in action check out the SMSY page on Instagram.
Remember the few days of sunshine we had, well this sparked an interest in the sew your own espadrilles classes and I saw some amazing results with everyone making their own unique shoes with their own colour and fabric choices. Here are a few of the photos of some fancy foot work.
If you want to make yourself some unique footwear for the Spring Summer, then check out future dates on the website.
